SUMMARY:
Strippers from abroad are performing in a Slavonian village motel night-club.
Because of their fascination with the strippers, a group of men from the village
are neglecting their wives, who are making futile attempts to rekindle their
interest. Together with the village priest, the wives manage to drive the
strippers out of the village - and to bring their husbands to their senses.
SUMMARY:
Ferdo, an unemployed alcoholic electrician, listens to the urgings of Lucifer
whose voice he can hear, and tries in various unsuccessful ways to kill his
wife, Olga. His mother-in-law realises what he is up to. Ferdo is helped by his
neighbour Rudi, who wants to get rid of his mother-in-law. In the end it turns
out that Ferdo had concocted the whole thing.
BIOGRAPHY:
Zlatko Jakobović was born in Brčko in 1946. He completed the study of medicine in Rijeka. His published books include: A Guide Through Stamp Collecting, 1984, 2nd edition 1987; Through the Brčko Sava Basin, a monograph, 1995; A Plate in the Head - UNPROFOR, two comedies, 1997; Brčko, an Historical Croatian Town from 1428 - 1529, and Lucifers (The Roisterers, A Cat with Nine Lives, Štibra, and Ramses), comedies and other plays, 2000. The play Ramses was published in the Zagreb AGM Plima magazine in 2000. Jakovović has published several hundred articles in the field of history and stamp collecting.
